On May 26, the 46th annual Piscataquis River Race “finally” happened. Although the number of participants was down this year I feel their enthusiasm more than made up for the lack of numbers. I believe it made the terrific group of Kiwanians feel that it was a morning well spent.
There were 28 boats and 41 racers all sent off “en mass” by Paul Davis. Fastest down the river was Ben Randall who shares the Bob Darling Memorial trophy with a very impressive young man Nolan Mabee.
